WE ARE HERE TO CHANGE SCHOOLS is a slogan of what RM 5.5 stands for. Have you ever noticed that after you get out of elementary school the classrooms become extremely boring. In fact, even when you are in elementary school the walls feel to babyish when you get to higher grades. The simplicity of classrooms are nice, but the classrooms lack the teachers personality. It almost feels like every single period of every single class you are walking into the same classroom with a different number on it. That is what RM 5.5 is trying to fix. We believe that teachers should be able to express there personality into their classrooms. It's a win-win for everyone. The students become more happy seeing a classrooms that looks nice and matches the personality of their teacher and it benefits the teacher for having a classroom that feels like it's theirs.
Our Story
RM 5.5 began in mid April of 2023. It started as the name Room 5.5 and then was shortened to RM 5.5 (it means the same thing). It was a blank star between room 5 and 6. I thought it would be cool to call it room 5.5 and make people line up there and turn into the actual room instead of room 6. It was a big success! People were following the goal and room 5.5 felt like it was the biggest thing ever! Then I got an idea, to create a website. It would be the biggest thing to have ever happened to the room 5.5 brand. On June 1st, 2023, the brand new Version 1.0 Room 5.5 website was launched!
